This Cancellation Policy applies to food orders placed through the McDee website ( mcdee.in ).

Because McDee prepares food specifically for each customer, cancellation availability depends on the stage of the order.

1. Customer Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order as soon as possible after placing it.

If food preparation has not started, McDee may accept the cancellation.

If food preparation has already started, cancellation may not be possible.

Once an order has been prepared or dispatched for delivery, it generally cannot be cancelled.

To request a cancellation, please contact McDee using the contact details provided on the website and provide your order number and registered mobile number.

2. Refund for Cancelled Orders

If McDee accepts a cancellation and the customer has already made an online payment, the eligible refund will be processed through the original payment method where possible.

The time taken for the refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other financial institution.

3. Cancellation by McDee

McDee reserves the right to cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in situations such as:

Selected food items are unavailable.

The delivery address is outside our service area.

Incorrect or incomplete delivery information has been provided.

The customer cannot be contacted.

There are payment or technical issues.

Unsafe weather, traffic, or other conditions prevent delivery.

There is suspected fraudulent or abusive activity.

Operational circumstances prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If a prepaid order is cancelled by McDee and a refund is applicable, the eligible amount will be refunded through the appropriate payment method.

4. Customer Unavailable at Delivery

If the customer is unavailable at the delivery address, does not answer calls, or provides an incorrect address or contact number, the order may be treated as a failed delivery.

In such circumstances, a refund may not be available because the food has already been prepared specifically for the order.

5. Promotional Orders

Orders placed using discount codes, free-delivery offers, or other promotions are subject to the specific terms of the applicable promotion.

Cancellation or refund of promotional orders may affect eligibility for the promotion.

6. Refund After Cancellation

Where a refund is approved, McDee will initiate the refund within a reasonable period.

The actual time for the amount to reach the customer's account depends on the relevant payment service provider or financial institution and may vary.

7. Changes to an Order

If you need to change an item, quantity, delivery address, or other order details, please contact McDee immediately.

Changes may not be possible once the order has entered preparation or has been dispatched.
